CALVA Health check-up process
Here we will give the general process for the weekly health check-up for CALVA experiment.
The results should be noted inside the corresponding excel file available inside the in2p3 box.
- First check the temperature inside both cleanroom.
- Check if SHG2 temperature is locked. If not, correct it and then lock it.
- Check if SHG1 and SHG2 are locked, then put them in « scan mode ».
- See that the VPM respond to the « scan mode » command and also note the TolmFrameBuilder latency value.
- If the alignment is deemed insufficient, then correct it.
- Note the value of the TEM00 peak for both SHGs.
- Re-lock SHG1 and SHG2.
- Check Pump power at the entry of the MZ.
- Check FCC power behind the 1st mirror after the dichroic.
- Check the LO, Seed and FCV power inside the power distribution hub (LO power is to be mesured between the 2 mirrors of the periscope for the fiber injection).
- If the MZ wasn’t in use, then power on the HV amplifier, launch the MZ process and unblock the MZ arm.
- Check the contrast of the MZ (Taking the mean value of max and min due to the slow modulation).
- Check the locking of the MZ.
- If the MZ is not needed for current works, stop the process, switch off the associated HV amplifier and reblock the MZ arm.
- Check if OPO temperature is locked. If not, correct it and then lock it.
- If the OPO need re-alignment, proceed before taking the value measurement (N.B : you need to remove the 2 first density in the MCL path on in-air table to align it).
- Check the Pump TEM00 peak depth (Be careful of the baseline).
- Check Seed TEM00 peak value on the HD add channel.
- Check the MCL power on HD add channel (Be careful of the baseline).
- Check the LO power on SERV18_0 and SERV18_1.
- Check the power from SHG1 and SHG2 into the PLL IR photodiode.
- Check the PLL IR beating value.
- Send 50mW of Pump toward the OPO and check the PLL green beating value.
- Check the locking of the PLL, on IR and then on green.
